Sundsvalls Cat Show

1/25/2011

We have now been to this seasons first Cat Show in Sundsvall last weekend. The Abyssinians took it well and Knerten was a show monkey as always.

It was Pearls first show as an adult. She was 2nd up for Best in Variety both days but she got the certificate CAC and I'm proud to say that she gave the judges something to think about :)

Knerten took his certificates CAGPIB both days but lost in nomination and it wasen't anyone else in the ruddies neutered class so they didn't have Best in Variety.

Amira did much better then I used with. She took the certificate CACS both days and was nominated on Sunday for Best in Show.

This was Vargtass last show for now. He wasn't so keen on both the preparations before the show and during the show he spent most of the time under the cagerug hiding from everyone. We don't want that so therefore he will stay at home for the rest of the season at least. But although he didn't like the hands of every judge he got his certificats CAGPIB and became Grand Internationell Premier on the Sundays show. The judges even liked him so much that they nominated him to Best in Show. Not bad considering.

I worked both days as steward again missing almost everything around the judgements but it's fun and many who knows me knows I love to have something to do and hate to sit still.

Next show will be on home ground here in Umeå....or hmmm. I'm thinking of a trip to Gävle and Gestricas Cat Show in March. If I show Amira there she might become Supreme Champion here in Umeå. What a grand finale that would be. Have to think about it and quickly. The entry fees should be payed now. Go to Gävle with one cat is a bit to much or.....
