Kittens born on Christmas Eve 2009.

One red/sorrel male still available as pet/shows. He is absolutly gorgeous in temperament and have been a joy to show several times (with great success I might add). We have entered him end of August to Gestrica Cat Show. If you are nearby pay him a visit he is well worth your time. I will during this week add more photos of the red fox.

Pike is very active and loves to chase toys. Padrino likes balls that moves. He jumps high to catch rubberballs in the run. Both boys are very social and loves food that comes in any kind. Best although is the same food as we eat. They love to sit in our knee and be petted. 

I have had the great opertunity to show this litter twice. First two days at Björkstakattens Cat Show in our own town Umeå when the litter where almost 4 months old. Pike got Ex 1 both days, Padrino got Ex 1 both days and got BIV on Sundays show, Pepino became Ex 2 after his brother both days and the little girl Pearl got Ex 1 both days and got both BIV and nomination on Saturday. They became Best in Show litter on Saturday and came in second place on Sunday. Their great results made their mum best breeding queen Sunday (because we only showed her one day).

Second time they where 5½ months old at Solkattens Cat Show in Skellefteå. Pepino have moved and therefore we showed only Pearl, Padrino and Pike. Pearl got Ex 1 both days, Pike got Ex 1 both days and on Saturday he also got BIV and became nominated as the judges best kitten but beaten by a absolutly gorgeous Burmeasen babygirl. Padrino got Ex 3 on Saturday but became Ex 1 and beat his mum and sister for the BIV on Sunday. The judge loved him so much so she nominated him as her best kitten but he got beaten by the same Burmeasen kitten the won over Pike the day before. They placed themselves as second best litter both days but did so great that their mum won best breeding female and we became best breeder in category 3 both days.

I had the great pleasure of showing Pike and his sister at Polarkattens cat show in Nesna 26-27 June 2010 and they where absolutly fantastic. Pike won the judges heart both days and getting nominated in junior class only two days older then 6 months. On Saturdays show he was beaten by his sister in the last round when all judges wotes for their best junior. On Sunday they both got beaten by a Cornish Rex junior born 1 months yearlier then Pike and Pearl. The last day Pike figured out how to escape the cage by lifting the roof. Once he knew how we couldn't keep him in the cage any longer. We didn't want to chase him all over the show area. But I'm sure the public would have enjoyed it ;-)))).

Pike have been to Gävle and Gestricas Cat Show this weekend (28-29 August). He got great judgements and got 2 times Ex 1. They loved his body, very firm but still elegante. He is on the edge of becoming an adult male and therefore we will this Thursday neuter him. We don't want a misshappening between him and the feamles :).

We are still looking for a home to him. He is a very gentle soul but likes to play all day long if he had his saying about it.
