Yum-Yum is spoken for.
Yum-Yum is 10 weeks today 4 of february.
Yum-Yum is a huligan big time. She is all over the place and now is eating also dry food for kittens. Weight today is 1048g and below some photos taken today.

Yum-Yum just arrived back home from the vet and her first vaccination.
Yum-Yum have been to the vet for her first vaccination today at the age of 9 weeks and 2 days. Below some photos I took of a very happy to be back home kitten. We made the trip without her mum this time which was a bit scary but she did great.

This is Yum-Yum at the age of 8 weeks.

This is Yum-Yum at the age of 7 weeks.
Last Thursday Yum-Yum ate very porrly and whated to sleep all the time. I discoverd that she had hurt her backleg must certainly by jumping. Late Thursday night at 23.30 I decided that the vet had to check her up because she didn't play, eat or drink. The vet gave her fluid in the neck bacuse she was very dry as well as antibiotics for 6 days. Today is the first day she's really her self again. Jumping around playing like nothing ever happend. Due to this little mishappening she haven't gain much in weight so she is at the writing moment 680 g. Below some picture of her.

This is Yum-Yum at 6 weeks of age.

3rd of January this is our lovely girl Yum-Yum playing.
Yum-Yum is now 5½ weeks old. very active and really done progress this last days with running, jumping, crawling and climbing. The last one is prefered on human legs ;) Everything is exiting and needs investigation both by mouth and paws. Some photos taken today below.

Now she really likes to be an adventures kitten :) Date 28th of December
Yum-Yum really want to have more company then her mum. Everytime we leave the bedroom she follows. She therefore have met all cats and it's only her gran mum Felicia that doesn't like her but growls a bit. Pearl on the other hand can't stand our new male Dandino and just have to give him a paw or two. This will, I believe, will pass when Yum-Yum gets a bit older.
Yum-Yum can do both number one and two in the litter box and have today tasted minsted meat. She loved it much more then fish. I can't blame her because I can't stand eating the same food for many days. Below some pictures of Yum-Yum, 4 ½ weeks old and weight of 350g, on one of her adventures outside the bedroom.

Yum-Yum use the litter box and eats everything she can get her paws on.
Yum-Yum is eating fish with milk substitute since yesterday once a day but today she dug her teeth into her mum Pearls 2-year treat consisting of Gourmet Golds salmon in mousse. That was much more yummy :) Today she also used the litter box for the first time doing number one. Noted that she's only 4 weeks old today. A very clever girl I must say. Weight is 397 g. Below one picture of each event.

Christmas pictures of Yum-Yum taken today Wednesday 21st of December.

Yum-Yum is spoken for and perhaps we are expecting another litter of cute babies in February.
Yum-Yum is spoken for and will move nearby when she's 12 weeks old. Amira is mated with our new male from England, Dino. The litter if all goes well will arrive mid February. We'll keep you posted but if you already know that your interested in this combination let me know.
He is a she!
Ok, I've done a mistake in determinate the gender of the little one. After visit by breeder friends this afternoon and on Yum-Yums three weeks birthday we come to the conclusion that he is a she. She will keep the name Yum-Yum. She is weighing in writting moment 339 g (2011-12-17). Below some photos from today.

Purring and really curious of the world around him.
Today Tuesday 13th of December he has a weight of 300 g and learning to walk. He have found his lungs now and can really scream if something is wrong. He have also learned to purr so he and his mum Pearl are both purring like crazy. He is very good on holding his head high and also learned to sit on his behind. I've added new photos below.

One male born 26th of november at 20.26
Pearl gave birth to only one kitten. She really fooled us the last day having to buns on each side. The kitten was born backwards with tail and legs first. A bit problematic for a first time mum. The little male had a weigth of 91 g but already after one day and night he had a weigth of 106 g. He's all alone in the milkbar :)
A coule of pictures taken at birth and also some from today sunday.

Pearl is carrying kittens
Pearl is expecting kittens end of November. Nipples are pink and she is eating like a horse. She was mated with Brunnbäcken's Awash a ruddy wonderful male that have done great at shows. He is leading the Best in Variaty competition arranged by SVERAK for the moment. Below a picture of Awash taken by Tomas Olofsson when he and Karolina passed by for a visit. Note that pictures taken by other persons then me is private property and before downloading you should ask for promission.

Becoming father for the first time Brunnbäcken's Awash and becoming mother for the first time IC S*Skimmerdal's Peachy Pearl, both ruddy Abyssinians. Father is PK-free but carrier of PRA. Pearl is free from both by DNA-test.
Kittens expected end of November.
Our queen Pearl has met a nice male. They mated only twice but already after 1½ weeks she shows pink nipples. If all goes well we can maybe have small paws around 29-30 of November. More will be posted here when we see how it developes. We will also let you know the name of the male in time but added is that he has a great personality and can't get enough of cuddle.
